Welcome to Wisconsin Fishing Reports.
The Badger State is known for its great Bass, Panfish, Pike, and Walleye fishing opportunities. With 981,000 licensed anglers, spending 19.4 million days on the water, there are a lot of great fishing stories to be told. We encourage Wisconsin anglers to share their experiences while afield – either good or not so good. Contributing your helpful tips and timely information to the pages of American Fishing Journals will encourage others to do the same, which in turn may be a benefit to you.

Walleye
2/13/2009
Lake Poygan
There were about ten of us out on the ice last Tuesday. I saw a couple of nice walleye taken, including one by my buddy, Jeff. Most of the caught were perch though. Using jigs with some meat on them or swedish pimples.
