Welcome to Washington Fishing Reports.
The Evergreen State is known for its great Salmon, Trout, Steelhead, Walleye and Saltwater fishing opportunities. With 873,000 licensed anglers, spending 13.5 million days on the water, there are a lot of great fishing stories to be told. We encourage Washington anglers to share their experiences while afield – either good or not so good. Contributing your helpful tips and timely information to the pages of American Fishing Journals will encourage others to do the same, which in turn may be a benefit to you.

Sturgeon
3/5/2009
Columbia River - Trojan
The kids and I spent a beatiful day anchored in the Trojan hole on the Columbia for Sturgeon. There were about 10 boats out there and we were all hooking fish, though all we came up with were shakers.Lot's of fun though. Just make sure to bring as many fresh smelt at you can get your hands on. They will bite other stuff, just not as well.
